Physical Anomolies, etc.

One of the most fascinating things, to me, about Reconnective Healing is the effect on the physical. Almost as if to say "pay attention!" I have found that often when beginning a remote session my television seems to turn itself on. Several times after having grabbed the remote, turned the television off, and heard that 'click' that is so familiar when powering on or off a television. Several seconds later, I hear the click and the tv comes back on.

When I first read Eric Pearl's book and heard of these electrical anomalies I didn't really believe it would happen to me. But again, being skeptical is natural, even necessary. To believe everything I hear or read would not be wise.

One thing I saw in class was also particularly fascinating. In one demonstration several students paired off in front of the group. Half lied down on the tables while the other half were taken outside the room and given instructions. When they returned they walked to the heads of the tables with their hands behind their backs. As they looked down upon their respective partners the people on the table started showing distinct registers. The point is that to play with energy is fun, and fascinating (Eric jokes about 'waving his hands around like a crazy person' lol, I love his sense of humor!) - but it doesn't really even require our hands. It is in our essence, and transmits through our eyes as well - and every other part of us. Something about being 100% present with your attention focused on the other person allows this experience.

Again, there is beauty in its simplicity.

The registers are interesting because they definitely vary from person to person. I remember one guy in particular was very dramatic, his hands and feet would jump, it was almost funny! Later in class he told us he was a Pastor at a church. He explained that at first, all of this seemed a little bit hard to believe - and he was unsure about what to think of it.

He next said that, once experiencing it he was amazed at the peace he felt, and how his physical body seemed to be shifting over the past day. That IS true.

I'm a person who's always chilly. I always need a sweater and I'm never warm enough in the winter. In class, it was very cold - the AC was running way too high (I probably always think this!) lol... anyhow I was rubbing my hands together, rubbing my arms to try to warm up, but everytime we started to practice my hands would get intensely hot. This happens without fail, even today. Sometimes I practice on my cat just to warm up :) lol...

The other physical change I quite enjoy is that immediately upon practicing, whether in person or from a distance I immediately feel like I'm in a deep meditative state, without having to go through the actual steps of meditation. This being said I should also note that as any practiced meditator would know - the state seems to arrive faster and easier the more you practice, so it is possible that THIS is the cause. I am simply observing.

I'm willing to be skeptical for certain. That is only fair, and only part of the due process in exploring this fascinating gift. Also, being that it is a gift, realize that you can learn it too - anyone can. I also doubted this going into class, and we all, as students discussed how we weren't really sure if we'd be able to do it - and the instructors acknowledged our doubts. They also had us practice and practice, proving over and over that we could, in fact do the exact same thing. I've had no problems reproducing its effects outside class, without telling the receiver about what to expect. Its fascinating every time. I can't wait to share this with as many people as possible. I believe it's for everyone, and anyone can learn it.

The beauty is in it's simplicity.

There isn't a special prayer that needs to be said - and in Eric's book he jokes about this. Saying... do we need to call god in? Where exactly are we calling him in from? The airport? God is everywhere, and in all things. Do we need to call in protection? No. The universe is aware. It is aware of what our intent is without needing to state it repeatedly. The universe also knows that the client has come to the practitioner to grow and move forward from whatever they are suffering with. We don't need a special visualization, a specific question, or even to know what the client is wishing to heal. There isn't a special crystal we use, or special lights or special music.

We are created of divine intelligence- each one of us. If you have any doubt in this just think about the ease in which your body recreates itself moment by moment, cell by cell. You are a constant creation of this infinite and intrinsic intelligence present in all life. If you had any doubt in that you wouldn't be reading this :)
